    Volume 26, Number 1 of k@ta: A biannual publication on the study of language and literature brings together seven articles authored or co-authored by 12 scholars from eight academic institutions in five different countries: Indonesia, Iran, Ghana, the USA, and the Philippines. Among these is a distinctive piece - a reflective dialogue on translation theory and practice, blending scholarship with personal insights.     This special issue (Volume 26.00) marks the second part of a series featuring selected papers from the International Conference "Language in the Online & Offline World 7: Texts and Practices in Times of Pandemics: The Multitude," which was held virtually on June 3-4, 2022. Continuing the discussions initiated in the first part (Volume 25.00), this issue delves deeper into the impacts of pandemics on language, literature, media, communication, and arts.
