Updated Policy on the Use of AI
Since k@ta Volume 26 (1), the journal has used Turnitin, including its AI-writing detection features, to monitor possible generative AI use in all submissions.  In response to rapid developments in AI, the journal has updated its policy to regulate AI-assisted work. This policy guides the responsible use of AI tools by authors, editors, and reviewers. It applies to all manuscripts submitted for Volume 28 (1) and later issues.

Updated Template
Starting from k@ta Volume 26 (1), a revised template has been introduced to enhance the journal's readability and ensure consistency in formatting. However, it is important to note that Volume 26 (1) represents a transition between editorial teams. As a result, some articles in this issue may still reflect the formatting style used by the former editors. Full implementation of the revised template has been achieved in Volume 26 (2), ensuring alignment with high publishing standards.

Updated Tools
Beginning with k@ta Volume 26 (1), the following tools have been introduced to uphold academic integrity and improve the quality of submissions:
Turnitin: Used to check both plagiarism levels and AI-generated content.
Grammarly: Used for checking grammar and language consistency.
Recite: Ensures reference accuracy.

Authorship and Identification Policy
Starting from k@ta Volume 27 (1), all authors are required to include their ORCID ID upon submission. ORCID IDs are now displayed alongside author names in each published article. This policy reflects our commitment to transparency, author identification, and best practices in publishing.

Reviewer Transparency
Since Volume 26 (1), k@ta has included the names of assigned reviewers for each issue. Reviewers who evaluated manuscripts, regardless of whether the manuscripts were published, are acknowledged on the journal website under the corresponding issue. In addition, a complete list of all reviewers who have contributed to the journal over the years is available on this page
