Abstract
A good test-taker is always prepared for the test. He knows what to do before, during and after the test. The study under report aimed at exploring students' strategies for taking classroom tests. A set of structured questionnaire was distributed to thirty-six students of an English Department in Surabaya Indonesia. Likert scales were used to measure the students' test-taking strategies. The students' responses were then analyzed to know how well the students used test-taking strategies. The study reveals that in general the students of the English Department are not always well prepared for classroom tests.Downloads
