Abstract

This study aims to introduce the project to construct the Chinese learners' corpus (LC) of Japanese at Dalian University of Technology (DUT), and detail the LC construction, development of DUT Corpus Linguistics Tools, and contribution to the education of Japanese as a second language. The outstanding characteristic of the LC is its parallel form with learners' Japanese texts and their Chinese translation, which enables us to make comprehensive analysis of the influence of Chinese (L1) to Japanese (L2). We have made a preliminary analysis of the errors contained.
